Bobby Slaydon was born and raised in the rural community of Merryville, La. He earned a Bachelor Degree from McNeese State University, as well as his graduate studies, from McNeese State University in 1989. Bobby has worked in the health care field for 32 years and has dedicated his life to improving the services provided to those with medical needs. He began serving as a Hospital and Nursing Home Administrator in 1991 and has worked in both Urban and Rural communities as Administrator, Telehealth and Special Projects Research Director, Muti-Specialty Clinics Director, and for the past three years has specialized in Directing Rural Health Clinic Services. In addition to Administration experience, Bobby has a background in Clinical Laboratory Medicine and has served the public as manager of hospital and clinic Laboratories as well as Clinical Consultant for CLIA regulatory compliance to hospitals and clinics.
Bobby is grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve in a role for the quality and care provided by Desoto Regional Health System and prays that God will allow him to serve the needs of patients with exceptional standards of performance
