Vernadine Mitchell is the Chief Nurse Executive at DeSoto Regional Health System in Mansfield, Louisiana. She has been employed at DRHS since January 29, 2007. Mrs. Mitchell has had 40 years of nursing experience with 30 solid years in nursing management. She received her Diploma in Nursing in 1969, Bachelor Degree in Health Arts in 1992, and received her Master of Science in Health Administration Services in 2003. She currently resides in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Amy Shelton was appointed Human Resources Director of DeSoto Regional Health System in November 2008. She received her B.S. degree in Organizational Management with Human Resources Management Emphasis from Colorado Christian University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ms. Shelton has over 15 years of human resources experience in a variety of industries including military experience as a Human Resources Specialist in the United States Air Force. She has worked in various human resources positions stateside and in the United Kingdom. Ms. Shelton is a national member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She enjoys her family time and reading. Amy and her husband Dellray have two daughters.
